June 30, 2010We purchased a set of "E-rated" mud and snow tires for our Dodge Ram Diesel from Discount Tires
in Everett, WA. Time passed and last fall, before going on vacation, I called Discount Tire to set up
an appointment to have a slow leak repaired, the tires rebalanced and then rotated. I was told by the
fellow on the telephone that they had "no record" of our purchase. I told them I had a reciept and set
a date. On the appointed day, I presented the reciept and the fellow says, "I know why we don't have
any records. The computer dumps the files after five years." We got the mileage from the odometer and
found I had driven 97,000 plus miles on that set of tires since purchased...10 years earlier! My, how
time flies. Everyone was shaking their head and I was a little embarrassed because of their age. The
tires still had legal tread depth and no appreciable dry rot, so the work was done and we went on
vacation the following week. My truck weighs almost 10,000 pounds curb weight and then we packed it
for camping. We averaged 26 mpg on that trip! Financially, things have changed for us since that
time so we are having to start a savings program for a new set of your fine tires. We will never
consider another brand after that stellar performance. I tell this story every chance I get.
Excellent product! Keep up the good work.*

June 26, 2010I want to share with you some information concerning a set of Michelin LTX® M/S
tires that I purchased over five years ago on November 27, 2004. I think you will find the info very
gratifying. I own a 2002 Toyota Tundra Limited pick-up truck with the TRD package, which I bought new
in July 2002. Although I live and work in a large city, I am also a hunter and spend a lot of time on
my deer lease in Burnet, Texas. As you can imagine, the terrain is very difficult on tires...sharp,
jutting rocks, deep ruts, uneven trails, and very sharp, tough cactus needles. The original tires on
my truck lasted only 1 year and 4 months before having to be replaced. During that time I had to
replace two of them due to slices through the sidewalls. I was not very happy. In November 2004, I
had the original tires on my truck replaced with a set of brand new Michelin LTX M/S 265/75/16 tires.
At that time, my Tundra had 42,801 miles on it. Today, after five years and five months, I finally
had to replace that set of Michelins. The mileage on the truck today is 124,381 miles. That means
I got 81,580 miles out of that set of tires, many of which were under very difficult circumstances.
As if that isn't remarkable enough, I never had a flat or any problem of any kind with those tires
for the whole period of time they've been on my truck. And even through they are definitely tough,
durable truck tires, they still ride quietly and smoothly, both in the city and on the highway.
I just wanted to let you know that I think you make a wonderful product and should be proud of the
quality that you produce. You have a lifelong customer in me.*

June 15, 2010I equiped my 2002 Ford Excursion with your MX3 light truck tires 6 years ago and I
just want you to be aware of the wonderful service and performance I have received from these tires.
They just turned over 110,000 miles of use and I will probably run them another 5K miles.
I will never buy another brand of tire. Thank you.*

July 16, 2009I am 60 yrs. old and I have had a lot of tires in my time but never as good as your tires.
The set I have on my truck now have 100,000 miles on them and they still have half the tread on them.
My tire dealer just can't believe it. He says the tires are 60,000-mile tires. I love the smooth ride
and the look of them anyway. I just thought you would be interested and it might make a good advertisement.
I will continue to tell every one I meet. Thank you.*

June 30, 2009Purchased a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer (SUV) new in August 2001. Equipped with Michelin tires –
235 75/15 LTX M/S – the best tires I've experienced. Replaced on June 26, 2009. 149,482 miles. Love them so
much, I bought another set.*

March 30, 2009I would like to thank Michelin for the fine quality of tire they manufacture. I just replaced the tires on
my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500hd. with the third set of your tires. LTX M/S lt265/75r16. after replacing them my dealer
had told me that I had logged over 102,000 miles on my last set of tires. Unbelievable they were still going strong.
Just a thank you for a fine product. *** note*** not a flat in 102,000 miles

April 8, 2008I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my MICHELIN LTX M/S tires.
I know tires are not supposed to last forever, but these may outlast my 1995 truck.
I have purchased a lot of tires in my short 59-year lifetime, but I have never had
a set that has given me this kind of performance. I appreciate the quality, performance,
dependability and the reliability. I am now one of your most loyal customers.*
- Butch Stanphill
March 19, 2008Thank you for your constant diligence in providing drivers with safe tires.
Out of the blue, my MICHELIN LTX M/S tire started to make a funny noise.
It was flat. Apparently, my car was severely out of alignment and the tire was COMPLETELY bare
to the steel radial. I was lucky it didn't blow out on the interstate and possibly injure my
15-month-old son and the rest of the passengers. Thank you for making a product that kept
my most precious gift safe. I will always be grateful!!*
- Danielle Kugelman
March 13, 2008I just changed out my MICHELIN LTX® M/S tires after 114,000 (hard) miles. They still had 3/16" tread left! Unbelievable! As far as I am concerned, everything else is just a tire. Thanks for making a great product.*
- Matt Haire
February 26, 2008In about 2,000 miles, my MICHELIN LTX® M/S tires will have 180,000 miles on them. I want to replace them but I am blown away by how they have held up. All I do is maintain air pressure and rotate them every other oil change, about 10,000 miles. They have saved me a lot of money, not having to replace them until now, and we all know how tight money is. Thank you again!*
- Mike Perry
February 3, 2008I am very pleased to report that very soon I will be passing the 100,000 mile mark on my set of MICHELIN LTX® M/S tires. I have had nothing but good things to say about your tires and feel they are VERY well made. Goes to show that a quality company, and tireless (no pun intended LOL) attention to rotation and pressure can surely lead to long tire life.*
